Every day or week is given to us to make some positive changes to our lives in order to create our own happiness and have a fulfilled life. We must understand that, nobody owes us our happiness but ourselves. Happiness comes from within us not from our external forces. Therefore, it must be our own goal to pursue in order to achieve it.

You will be shocked to know that, happiness is relative and there is no one formula for living a happy and fulfilled life. However, to have a happy and fulfilled week, you must discover personally what matters to you and pursue it.

We are living in a world where many things will want to catch our eyes but, only few things enter our hearts. This is the reason why you must learn never to compare yourself with others in the pursuit of happiness or a fulfilled life.

Each and everyone one is born to be happy and leave some positive and significant mark in the world. We all want to live a purposeful life so that we can make or contribute to our society positively.

It is possible to say that some people might seem to be happy people than others, but believe me; each and every one of us can create our own happiness without depending on others to create it for us.

Whether we are looking for a major change to life or trusting to be able to achieve some intimacy, there are a lot of things we can easily do to make sure that we are happy at some point and fulfilled during each week.

Here are some three D(S) you can do to be happy and have a fulfilled week.

  1. DISCOVER YOURSELF

To be happy and have a fulfilled week, you need to discover yourself and the ability to you carry within you. Knowing very well that, happiness is from within.

Self discovery is the process of gaining knowledge or understanding of your abilities, character, and feelings or emotions which enables you to maximize your potential.  You become more aware about yourself and the surroundings that you find yourself in to determine what and how you do things to have a fulfilled week.

When you discover yourself, you are more able to take full control over any external forces, which have the potential to limit or prevent you from achieving your dream for the week.

Discovery of oneself, gives you the platform to accept who you are, which leads to a happy and a fulfilled life. When you appreciate yourself, you are able to do things to improve on your strength and weaknesses to become a better person. I want to encourage you to take positive steps to overcome, make yourself happy and have a fulfilled week by discovering yourself.

  1. DEVELOP YOUR TALENT

Everyone born by a woman has a talent (s). This could be in the area of writing, singing, dancing, reading and editing. These talents may not be the one the world may be looking for to value but your ability to develop them is what will make your worth in life.

A talent not appreciated is a talent not developed.

When you discover yourself, it helps you to discover your talents as well. You become authentic without comparing yourself with others. However, you discover the need to improve yourself in the area of your talent by learning from those who inspire and motivate you to become your best.

Developing your talent can be possible if you are able to approach someone and ask them to mentor you in that regard.

Discover it and align yourself to be mentored by someone who has excelled in that area. When you do this, you are more able to pay attention to details or feedback regarding the “what, how and when” to do things.

Developing your talents means you have to set goal. Set a goal to achieve something or improve yourself. This is how you develop and challenge yourself to become a better person in your area of gifting and talent and gives you the confident about yourself.

  1. DEPLOY YOUR TALENT

Having something and not making yourself available to use it can be detrimental to oneself. You can discover yourself and develop the talent you have but if you don’t make yourself available to use that talent, you will never become recognised. Most people who are recognised for doing one thing or the other were individuals who did not hide themselves in the belly of a shark but made themselves visible with their talents and gifting.

When you make yourself hard to be seen, you will be hard to be heard.

If you are looking for an opportunity to make positive impact in your world, then, you have to make yourself available for it.

For your talents and gift to be celebrated and acknowledged, you have to find avenue to deploy them. It may not be in the National Newspapers or National Television but, your ability to deploy it daily to the people around you or community is what gives you value.

Therefore, if you have discovered something that you are good at, please don’t hide yourself but avail yourself to the right people and look for areas where your talents can be used to add value to them and bring fulfillment to you.

Most often, you may not be paid for it but it gives you the platform to share what you have and can do with likeminded people. Do you like writing? Offer yourself to write or feature in a column or if you like talking, get yourself to that group and share what you have with them.

One of the greatest things that makes us stand out in society is our talent. Your ability to use or deploy your talent is what makes you unique and authentic creating opportunity for you to achieve great success.

Your ability to discover, develop and deploy your strengths is what differentiates you from others and turns you into a person of significance.
