John 9:1
And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.
I read a story yesterday about a man who owned an old ford Car (T-Model). One day, the car broke down on the highway. Fortunately, this man knew a lot about cars and specifically this Ford (T-Model), so he went to work on it.
He tried different things and each time he went back to try and crank the engine, it still wouldn’t start. And just like most guys, he was a little stubborn, so rather than call for help, he continued to work on it. He tried different things and still nothing happened. The car just wouldn’t start.
Few minutes later, a beautiful limousine pulled up beside him. Out stepped an old man dressed in an all-white suit. He just stood at a distance and watched him for some few minutes. Finally the old man looked at him and asked him to adjust a specific part on the engine.
The man agreed because he had tried many other things that didn’t work so he might as well give this idea a shot even though there was no way this old guy could know more about this car than him. So he adjusted the part as the old man has suggested, got back into the car and sure enough, the engine cranked to life.
He was so surprised that he asked the old man, “How did you know what to do?” The old man said….”My name is Henry Ford and l manufactured this car.” And I hate to see my products not doing what l manufactured it to do.
The scriptures make it clear that Jesus was passing by because they’ve picked up stones to stone him for saying Abraham rejoiced to see His day. You don’t stop to conduct a healing service when people are threatening to stone you.
But the moment Jesus saw the blind man begging by the roadside, he said…..stoning or no stoning, this is my product. This is not how I manufactured it and this is not what I manufactured it to do. You have no idea the extent to which your manufacturer will go to ensure that you function at the highest level.
Stop dealing with retailers, distributors and sole agents and go to your manufacturer because you are his product and he can’t wait to fix you.
Jesus is ready to fix your mess. He is your manufacturer and you are His product.
